Please Note: Rural Minds Matter Peer Support Training will take place over two days in-person, at Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba on November 14 & 15, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm CST.

This in-person training is tailored for agricultural workers, producers, and farmers. To ensure these individuals get primary access, registration is currently prioritized for members of the agricultural community.

Not an ag worker? You are still very welcome to register! Applicants will be placed on a brief hold and admitted on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows.

Our class sizes have limits so by registering for this event, it does not necessarily guarantee access until formal confirmation from Stigma-Free Mental Health has occurred.
If the intention is for the trainee to commence peer support groups, further training and enhanced clearances will be required. A full informative application to attend phase II training will be required. RMM fundamental training is meant to introduce prospective peer support workers as to the concepts of peer support.
